Antique Silk Top Hats
The silk top hat is unrivalled for beauty and elegance, but having not been made since the mid-twentieth-century, they are becoming increasingly scarce in wearable condition.
Although damage to the silk itself is irreparable, we can help to ensure the rest of the hat remains in perfect condition.

Replace your tired hat band with a new band and bow in the traditional style.

Replacement Lining
Replace a worn out or disintegrated lining with a new one made from an in-keeping cream coloured silk.

Have us refit an original sweatband, or replace a damaged one with one our new-made fine buff leather sweatbands, finished with silk cording.

Crack Repairs (Panama Hats)
Panama hats are notorious for drying and cracking (particularly around the pinch). Whilst we cannot reweave the straw, it is possible to patch and reinforce breaks to stabilise the hat.
